when should I order my dress?

With most dresses you will receive within 2-7 days.

However we suggest ordering dresses 3 months in advance, especially if you have multiple girls as some dresses may need exchanging. If you require a dress sooner, please email us; hello@lillyandbo.co.uk.

We will require three measurements from you in cm. More details of sizing can be found here

There are no refunds on custom sizes or colours.

Unfortunately not. These dresses are machine made.

All full priced items are fully refundable if returned within 21 days. 22 days and over a credit note will be provided, that can be redeemed within 365 days. We do not refund shipping costs.

We refund on all items except; sale items.

Sale items can be exchanged. Postage payments will need to be covered by the customer of $4.60 as well as a return fee of £5.

Your tracking will tell you if your item has been returned. We will not send you a notification. Refunds are processed within 14 days. Please contact us after 14 days if an item has not been refunded.

We understand delivery companies can be unreliable. So if you can prove by your tracking that you returned the item at least 2 days before the 21 day returns policy and the item is returned to us late (out of the 21 days) then we will still honour your refund.

The 21 days starts from when you receive your dress.

In the unlikely event you've receive an incorrect dress, let us know within 2 working days. We will send you a voucher to return the dress and get the correct dress out to you. The dress needs to be returned to us within 21 days, if you wish a refund.

We do not cover the cost of postage, however we do cover the cost of re-sending exchanged items as a gesture of goodwill for full priced items. Discounted orders will require the customer to pay for exchange postage.

We recommend Parcel2go as a return service. They will track your parcels and can pick up if required. It is not necessary to insure your goods.


Exchanges must be returned to us within 30 days of delivery date. 

If you are purchasing multiple dresses and one is out of stock, the delivered items still falls under the 21 days return policy.

All items are considered individual packages, therefore when an item is delivered it has 21 days to be returned to us.

Only the recipient of a credit note can use voucher. A voucher can be used within 365 days. A credit note and After pay cannot be used in conjunction.

The 14 day to 21 day refund extension started June 1st. Any dress received before this time falls under 14 days return time frame.


If an item is deemed faulty on receipt of goods, we as the vendor need to be advised within 2 working days, for a full refund or exchange of goods. This needs to be done via email; hello@lillyandbo.co.uk.

To mark up a handmade dress before cutting, the dressmaker uses dressmaking chalk. The chalk may sometimes be left behind and can be easily removed with the heat from a hairdryer.

Our EXCLUSIVE RANGE may show a slight variation in sizing (up to 2cm either way), this may happen with handmade dresses.
