“Do Lilly + Bo dresses run large or small?” This is probably the question we are asked more than any other! The answer is simple: Lilly + Bo dresses are made to Lilly + Bo measurements. We are not Marks & Spencer. We are not Next. We are not Zara. We have our own sizing specifications and dimensions.

For this reason, we always recommend measuring your child and comparing those measurements against the size guide provided on each product listing. Age ranges are only a guide and children of the same age can vary significantly in size.

We highly recommend measuring your child before purchasing. The most important measurements are:

• Chest — measured from armpit to armpit
• Height — measured from shoulder to hem

Please note that satin dresses will naturally measure a couple of centimetres wider than tulle or elasticated styles, as satin has less stretch and movement in the fabric.
