We believe in transparency.

Rather than increasing the price of every dress, a £5 warehouse processing fee per order is only applied to returned orders (not individual items). Hence why we strongly suggest measuring your children carefully to ensure you get the best possible fit first time round.

Many UK flower girl companies do not offer refunds at all and instead provide store credit only, due to the delicate nature of these dresses and the significant costs involved in processing returns.

At Lilly + Bo, we do offer refunds; however, there are genuine costs associated with customers ordering multiple dresses with the intention of returning some of them.

Our £5 returns processing fee is a standard warehouse charge that helps cover the cost of receiving, inspecting, steaming, quality-checking, and carefully repacking dresses back into our warehouse.

As noted throughout our website and on every product page, we strongly encourage customers to measure their children before selecting a size. This helps ensure the best fit and reduces unnecessary returns.

Unfortunately, one of the biggest challenges within our industry is customers ordering multiple styles or sizes with the intention of returning most of them. To remain transparent, we do not build these costs into the price of every dress. Instead, our £5 warehouse processing fee is only applied to dresses that are returned.

This fee is clearly displayed across our website, including on product pages and at checkout, so customers are fully aware prior to purchasing.

Many companies simply increase the retail price of their dresses to absorb these operational costs. We prefer to be open and transparent with our customers instead. Customers who keep their dresses are not charged any warehouse processing fee, meaning there is an automatic saving for those who do not return items.
